Trio 55 is a group that formed officially in 2023 as the musical coming together of a group of housemates - Jacobo Vega-Albela (Drumset), Zach Walgren (Bass), and Jordan Lerner (Saxophones).

The three met during their studies at The Eastman School of Music. Trio 55 is dedicated to the exploration and presentation of standards from the jazz repertoire, as well as the development of new arrangements and original works by the group’s members. The opportunity to play almost daily has led the group to develop deep chemistry that comes across as creative interplay and a dynamic, conversational energy that shapes and drives the music.

This gig is a part of Rochester International Jazz Festival.
